| Dispositif habitat Lens : un projet innovant pour les habitants du foyer les horizons

Afin de répondre aux attentes d'autodétermination et d'autonomie des personnes habitant le Foyer d'Hébergement Les Horizons, l'Apei de Lens et environs lance un projet de Dispositif Habitat.
Mené en collaboration avec le département et en concertation avec les personnes accompagnées, leur famille et les professionnels, ce projet a pour objectif de permettre aux personnes vivant avec un handicap de vivre en autonomie, voire en milieu ordinaire, sans pour autant renoncer à la sécurité et à la protection dont elles ont besoin.

Pour répondre au souhait des habitants qui souhaitent des logements dans le centre de Lens les appartements seront situés Boulevard Basly, à la place des anciens locaux de la CPAM.
Les travaux ont déjà commencés, l'ancien bâtiment a été détruit.
L'immeuble habritera des appartements de 30 à 50 m²  où les personnes pourront vivre en couple si elles le souhaitent.  Des espaces communs seront créés également : salle d'activités, salle à manger, ateliers d'apprentissage (linge, cuisine...), terrasse, jardin...

L'équipe éducative restera présente et pour les personnes plus autonomes, des logements dans un autre bâtiment seront disponibles avec la venue ponctuelle d'éducateurs.

Les habitants ont hâte de découvrir leur nouveau chez eux, dont la livraison est prévue pour 2023 !
