| Des heures d'accompagnement et de répit financées par la CAF

Les parents d’enfants vivant avec un handicap peuvent désormais bénéficier de Services d’Aides A Domicile (SAAD) financés par la CAF.

 

Ce soutien temporaire concerne à la fois l’accompagnement dans certaines démarches (administratives, médicales, scolaires..) par des professionnels et/ou des temps de répit dans des périodes plus compliquées pour la famille.

 

Cet accompagnement dure maximum 100h, réparties sur une durée de un an et concerne les enfants de moins de 18 ans, dont le handicap est déjà reconnu ou non par la MDPH. De même les parents ne doivent pas obligatoirement percevoir l’Ajpp ou l’AEEH pour y prétendre.

 

La prise en charge de l’enfant par un professionnel pour permettre aux parents un peu de répit, représente jusqu’à 50% de l’intervention du SAAD.

 

Bien que l’intervention soit financée par la CAF une participation basée sur le quotient familial est demandée aux familles.
